“How long does it take for my wallpaper to dry?”
After initial installation wallpaper can have a slight bubbly appearance for anywhere from 1 day to 14 days depending on wall surface, time of year, and the porosity of the wall and the paper. This is usually no reason for concern as gradually the paper will relax and settle and the bubbles will gradually disappear.
“When do I pay for the job?”
We appreciate payment upon completion. Materials we supply such as wallpaper are paid for prior to commencement of the job and can be paid by direct credit, cheque or cash.
“What about furniture and fittings?”
Please move all large furniture to the centre of the room. Remove paintings, photos, (and light fittings where they are attached to the wall). Curtain rails that are attached to the wall need to be removed. Take care to mark any holes you want to remain open to rehang pictures, mirrors, etc.
We use drop sheets to cover all flooring, carpet and furniture for protection.
How much will it cost?
Factors that influence price are
- The type of wallpaper being installed.
- Patterned Designer or Imported wallpapers generally take longer and are more expensive to hang as opposed to a plain NZ prepasted vinyl.
- Paste the wall Non woven wallpapers also take longer to install due to having to paste the wall rather than the product
- The height of the walls and objects to be cut around also are factored in along with the size of the room(s)
